Mrs. Mary Luz Botero Gallego?(MSc) was born in Medellin (Colombia). She obtained a BSc in Microbiology and Bioanalisis from the University of Antioquia (Colombia) and then a MSc in Nutricion y Metabolismo, from the University Rovira i Virgili (URV). She began to work in 2005 in the Interfibio Group from the URV, place where she is currently working as project technician. She specialized in electrochemical biosensors, but she also has experience in ELISA, ELONA, electrophoresis, surface chemistry, ?protein/DNA modification and purification and SELEX. Her research interests lie in the development of electrochemical biosensors for medical, environmental and food sciences. She has published 6 scientific articles and participated in several European Union funded projects.
