Other relevant information

Prof. Masip’s research is focused on using protein engineering to develop new solutions to different problems within the field of biotechnology. Specifically, by using molecular biology techniques, he aims to develop proteins with improved properties for certain applications like the selective co-immobilization of proteins by using DNA binding protein tags or obtain microorganisms with optimized genetic control networks that will allow the production of high added value metabolites.
